BAM! my last two inktober pieces. I skipped four days, but the fact that I made 27 ink drawings is something I’m proud of tbh, considering my schedule. on to nopevember!

Inktober day 22: ghost! As a kid I used to go to the section of the library with books about mysteries, supernatural events and ghost stories. There were always these creepy Victorian-era photos of “ghosts” that terrified me. Here’s one of those, but nice, because I now believe that ghosts just want to be understood.
A personal drawing for inktober.. last year, my kitty died, and I’m nowhere near over it. I miss her like crazy. This is based on a picture of me and her before her health declined sharply. I miss you Charlie!

Some inktober animal studies! love drawing them, although I need a lot of reference to do so… Saw a talk by Terryl Whitlatch in which she talks about the importance of studies and reference to draw animals, so I’m fully embracing this method for now!

on the final day of inktober, I redrew my first inktober drawing, just to see how much more comfortabe i had become with inking. It felt so much more intuitive and enjoyable the second time around! So glad I kept up with inktober this year!
inktober day 29: double!
inktober sketches featuring my kitty. sadly she passed away shortly after these drawings were made. her health declined rapidly in a really short time span and soon she wasn’t eating at all. I’m so sad she’s gone, she was the most amazing kitty I’ve ever known. Rest in peace sweet Charlie <3
