someone (forgot who it was!) recently asked me to draw no girl again, seemed like a fun idea. so i revived this old, weird character from my oekaki days. there’s some older artwork that i did of her in this picasa folder.

and one more sketch-of-how-i-picture-a-character-because-the-miniseries-failed-at-it. ellen (from pillars of the earth), who was supposed to have striking golden eyes and was, in actual fact, not a weird hippie with dreadlocks.
a sketch of lady aliena from the book pillars of the earth. there’s a miniseries based on the book which, besides being completely inaccurate and a terrible adaptation of the book, portrayed aliena as cute at best, plain, and lacking personality. she is supposed to be very beautiful but haughty and controlling, with very dark eyes and light skin. this is how i picture her.
