a day in my life as of the past and coming two weeks:
- wake up absurdly early
- jog (training for a 5K!)
- go to my office, fuel myself with lots of strong coffee
- draw until hand can draw no more (literally)
- go home, collapse
i hate it when i have all the motivation in the world to work, but my hand just can’t continue. i sometimes worry that i could be developing carpal tunnel, but i think it’s just a good old fashioned cramp from holding a tablet pen with a death grip all day. curse the hard, burdensome life of a digital painter! agh!!

I went to an OT last year for the same reason! He made me a wrist splint to wear at night, it seems to help and would probably help more if I remembered to do the stretches he gave me and took breaks every hour or two like I’m supposed to…

I KNOW RIGHT?! Have you tried taking little breaks to stretch & roll your wrists out? It can really, really help.
